About this service
If you’re an existing Working for Families Tax Credits customer and you have not taken up your entitlement to in-work tax credits, please use our on-line form to confirm that you normally work the required hours. Completing the questions will only take a few minutes.
All you need to do is tell us if:
- You are a two parent family who normally works 30 hours or more a week. This can be one parent working these hours or both parents working these hours between them.
- You are a single parent who normally works 20 hours or more a week.
After you finish the on-line form
Your in-work tax credit details will be updated over the next 2 days. You will not need to contact Inland Revenue to confirm your details again.
